I am a licensed clinical psychologist and received my doctorate in clinical psychology with a health emphasis from the California School of Professional Psychology. During my training, I completed an APA accredited internship at Oregon State University CAPS with an emphasis in interpersonal violence and an APA accredited postdoctoral residency at UC San Diego CAPs with an emphasis in sports psychology. I also hold a level 1 Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and am a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional.
My specialties include providing short-term and trauma-informed therapy to adults. Common concerns of my clients include trauma, sexual well-being, depression, anxiety, adjustment to college, academic performance, interpersonal relationships, and identity development. Practicing from an eclectic framework, my treatment often incorporates interventions from acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, somatosensory therapy, and compassion theory. Therapeutically, I enjoy working collaboratively with clients towards their treatment goals and value their feedback.
On a more personal note, I enjoy spending time in nature through hiking and camping. Some of my self-care activities include enjoying warm meals, physical activity, painting, and listening to music.
